Do you want to help build the engine production of the future? Nordic Advanced Systems (NAS) is looking for a technically strong and structured Production Team Lead to take a central role in building and running our engine assembly line. You will be a hands-on team leader responsible for production, quality, testing, documentation, and delivery of our engine platforms — and a key part of the continued development of NAS's production organisation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives with both technology and leadership, and who is motivated by creating structure, quality, and results in a high-tech production environment.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of NAS's engine assembly line, ensuring engines are produced, tested, documented, and delivered to NAS's quality requirements. You will work closely with a team of 5–10 employees and be actively involved in production yourself when needed. The role combines leadership, hands-on production, quality ownership, and responsibility for IT-enabled processes integrated with our ERP system.
Production & Assembly Line
Coordinate day-to-day assembly line operations — plan, prioritise, and ensure efficient use of resources. Contribute actively to production when needed; ensure compliance with work instructions and procedures.
Team Leadership
Lead and support a team of 5–10 employees, including day workers. Distribute tasks, follow up on progress, and contribute to onboarding and development. Create a professional, structured, and motivating work culture focused on quality and safety.
Quality & Documentation
Ensure consistently high product quality; handle deviations and corrective actions. Maintain correct documentation, traceability, and participate in root cause analyses.
IT & Process Systems
Own and develop IT-enabled assembly processes integrated with the ERP system. Drive continuous improvement of digital production tools and workflows.
Testing, Logistics & Continuous Improvement
Ensure correct execution and documentation of engine test procedures and validation activities. Coordinate engine preparation, packaging, and shipping with full documentation. Contribute to inventory management and handling of critical components. Drive improvements to production processes and support implementation of new methods and tools.

- Technical education in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Experience managing an assembly or production line, ideally in engine or precision manufacturing.
- Hands-on knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Dynamics, or equivalent).
- Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with UAV systems or high-reliability manufacturing is an advantage.
